Salt Pot

Aichi Prefecture is a famous production area of one of the great kilns of Japan. With a history of over 900 years of pottery, this product is a new interpretation of an ancient technique. The pot is made of rough natural soil that utilizes no glazing before firing, thus increasing its water-absorbent properties. Salt hardens especially in humid environment, thus this pot prevents the clumping of salt during storage.
