A gentle expression of the year of the horse. Since ancient times, horses have been considered auspicious signs that "things will go well" and "bring good fortune," and the "left horse" in particular, which faces backwards, has been popular as a guardian deity of prosperous business because of its appearance of beckoning people.
If you reverse the character "uma"(meaning horse), it becomes "mau", and it is said to bring joy and prosperity. The lower part of the horse resembles a purse and symbolises good fortune, preventing money from escaping.

文字を反転すると「まう」に通じ、喜びや繁栄をもたらすとも言われます。また、馬の下部は巾着に似てお金が逃げない金運の象徴。
