Patterned Mouth-Blown Glass Cup made with Traditional Aburidashi Technique from Japan
Serve your love one a glass of mocktail or cocktail this Valentines' Day. The colour of the drinks will make the pattern from the glass stand out.
The natural patterns on the tumbler are obtained using the aburidashi technique, which involves the shaping of glass in a patterned mold to create opalescent-coloured designs on the glass surface. It is rare to find glassware made using this technique, with the exception of select antique glassware shops.
What we use: Mix 1/3 of umeshu with 2/3 of sparkling water and top it up with some fresh raspberry.
