Iga-yaki Steam Pot with Induction Heating
This donabe steam pot is designed to cook the ingredients with the fast steam along with the effect of FIR (Far Infrared Rays). As a result, the ingredients can cook fast while maintaining the natural flavours and nutrients of each ingredient inside.
More than just the traditional stove, this steam pot has an additional plate at the bottom for Induction heating.
Iga ware (or iga-yaki in Japanese) is a form of porcelain produced in the area around the city of Iga, Mie prefecture. The excellent, heat-resistant clay from this area is used to make Iga ware. Thanks to its high level of fire resistance, this type of porcelain is famous for being well suited as earthenware pots and heat-resistant tableware
